We've never gone b4 and have been looking into it for this year. We're only about 5hrs away. Me and my wife will both be retired by then.
We've read thru the FAQs. Do you bring your toad if you're just attending the rally or leave it at home?
Is it advantageous to arrive early, say Thu? Or, will it be still quiet at that time?
irv2.com WIT club forum will have all those answers and advice from experienced members.

If you even think you might need to leave the immediate area, bring the toad. The nearest Walmart is nearly 45 min away. Otherwise, Winnebago has a shuttle that will take you just about anywhere in town you need to go.
Arrive by at least Friday. The weekend prior to the rally is full of events surrounding FC's annual Puckerbrush Days. Saturday is the big parade and fireworks, Sunday is steam powered machine demonstrations right next to the rally grounds.
Yes, a big field - former golf course. State/specialty rows are where most of the action is, especially Row Party night.
Make double sure your waste tanks are empty and water tank is full. You can take care of both for free at the newly-remodeld 4-station dump facility right behind the fire station at Pammel Park.
Thanks for the advice. We made reservations in the 50amp section, C50 I believe.. While we're there we can check out the other sections and maybe alter our stay in the future.. We'll be arriving Thu....
Biggest piece of advice is to have fun and attend as many seminars as you can fit in. There will be so much do do, and it's unlikely you'll be able to get to everything you want to in just one rally. Spend Saturday in FC - lots of fun stuff at Puckerbrush Days.
