Roof vents always open? 2018 Intent

So I have another question for somebody out here is I have a 2018 Winnebago intent and the roof vents I know are made to be left open all the time so wind and water will not come in those but my question is how do they work what keeps the wind and water from coming in I got up and looked at him and certainly seems like enough wind and rain would make its way through those Vance I can't seem to get an answer from Winnebago so I thought maybe somebody could help me with that thank you
