Exterior Storage Bin: Lost Key

Hello fellow Winnebago owners. I seem to have lost 'the only' key to my 2006 Winnebago Aspect 723-D
storage bins. You know...the ones I keep locked ALL THE TIME in fear of theft. In my 'Newbie' research to find out what I could do about it, I learn that all the keys (or 99.9% of the locks out there) are keyed the same. It didn't seem to be the CH751 key however because those are round shaped. Mine was triangular in shape at the top. Does this mean anything to anybody? Any suggestions as to how I can gain access to change them out?

- A well stocked RV dealer (it doesn't have to be a Winnebago dealer) should have a key to fit your lock.

or

- A locksmith should be able to get your doors unlocked and even be able to replace the lock cores.

If motorhomes are keyed remotely like travel trailers, everybody and their brother in the campground have a 571 key on their key ring right next to their door key.

My 571 baggage key from my old Summerland opened the main door locks (and *every* other lock) on my 2021 2701RBS.

I now have an electronic door lock with remotes. Don't know if it really improves security all that much, but we get a kick out of hearing chirp

Any RV dealer or pretty much most locksmiths will have a "universal" key that will open any RV lock and allow changing the cylinders

I have in hand 3 different shaped CH571 keys now. They all fit and open anything a CH571 is and probably isn't supposed too open

Like this? I can mail one to you. I changed all of my locks...
FYI, it doesn’t have a number on it, just the word STRATTEC on the back...

Thanks Gary,
My search for the 'Key Barer' begins now. If he(or she) looks anything like a Hobit, I promise to take a picture for all to see. Seriously though, I'm a fulltime PsuedoRVer as I have never been to a campground (please don't hold that against me), so funds are...less than I'd like them to be. Every penny I have does not carry the title 'Spare Change' if Yuku know what I mean. I need water in my rig so hopefully they'll be gentle if in fact they decide to charge me(I hope not). In any event, thank you for responding to my plea i really worried appreciate the feedback.

lost Key

I had an extra one made for my 2007 Aspect; I wonder if that key would fit yours. You are welcome to give it a try if you like. I already have 2, don't need 3.
