2.8 Onan battery connection

On my 2017 Winnebago Travato Promaster Van the positive and negative battery connections are on the very bottom (passenger side) at the forward edge of the generator. Road debris and moisture very easily to get into or bypass small vinyl red battery cover. I have 40,000 miles on rig and decided to check and found corrosion starting on the positive side. Cable is held on by a 1/2 inch nut and there are two washers. Wanted to throw this out for everyone as it is in one of those places that is hard to see. Important for proper voltage to your generator. Travato John.
