Coleman-Mach Basement A/C Problems

Hello Great to jave joined this Community site .
On my 2002 colman mack basement unit
I have replaced upgraded PC board Capacitors and Thermostat on my unit .
It starts and blows cool air for 5 to 10 min then shuts down . Any one have the answer to what may be wrong ?

Did this begin after replacing all 5 caps? Just one wire misplaced will prevent the compressors from starting and/or running. (been there, done that) The model number of your unit is on a sticker on the left end of the metal box pointing at the rear cap. You saw the wiring schematic when you removed the electrical box cover.
Knowing the model number will facilitate downloading your units service manual.



Observe the ammeter on your EMS panel when you turn on the unit. it should show the amp-draw when the both blower motors start, then jump up to about 14A when #1 compressor starts, 1 minute later #2 compressor starts and amp-draw should jump to approx 23A.

I forgot to ask; is the outdoor fan motor (ODFM) running? If it is running you will feel air blowing from under the unit. if it does not run the unit will shut off due to high head pressure in the compressors..
