A bad check valve, or one installed backwards?

Ten mill Did you have to remove the hose reel to replace the check valve? And where did you get the valve from .?

No, I did not remove it. Mine may be different. I have a 2004 Vectra 40kd.

My valve is located just above an elbow in the pipe. Above the valve was a plastic screw on cap and another located at the reel. I removed both of those and took out the entire elbow so I could work on removing the valve on the ground. It was very tight but did come loose. Hope this helps.

Mine has leaked just a little for probably 10 years. I use brass quick-connects, so I just put a quick-connect with a cap on the hose when I disconnect and that has worked great.

Upgrading water pump: Itasca sunrise

I want to upgrade my SHURflo water pump for a little more flow and pressure. It look like the pump is a Shurflo 1.8 GPM pump. When i called Shurflo they said they are usually 3.0 gpm in RVs. Looking for advice on what is appropriate or recommended.
I am new to this so forgive me for not starting a new thread. I don't know how to do that. How do I start a new thread?
