We just installed a Purelux popup sink drain. Had to cut the tail pipe a little shorter, but other than that a simple install in our 2529RG. The rubber washer that came with the Purelux was not as good a fit as the rubber washer that was under the stock drain, plumber's putty would have also worked. Sorry, the image has the overflow, YOU DO NOT WANT AN OPENING FOR OVERFLOW.
