Check your drain fittings or else...

So yesterday, I’m in the shower and it starts to backup, (not draining). I’m thinking, shouldn’t have trusted the gray tank sensor. No biggy. But then DW says there’s a river of water coming down the hallway.

I take the cover panel below the shower off and low and behold, not one, but all of the plumbing fittings were not even hand tight—they were loose.

It’s a swamp down there. Took everything apart after drying it out with a fan for hours, added plumbing tape, and stuck it all back together without so much as a drip.

Checked all of the others drain fittings under the sinks, and all were loose.

Lesson learned...

A laborious day indeed. One problem done, one to go, as it never ends. Let’s hope our Labor Day Trip is less eventful...

Sorry, Wyatt. Shortly after purchase I found all of mine to be loose as well. Every single connection that wasn’t glued.
