The dial on the radio as well as all the function buttons have quit working. I had removed the radio to gain access to a connector, and after re-installing, the thing just doesn't work.
Funny thing is, it responds to the remote! Though the dial remains unilluminated. I pressed the reset button several times to no avail......
Any ideas?

Could there be a bent/misaligned connector pin when you reinstalled?

Good thought....I checked it, checked power and have power on the pins called out in the manual (I even read the manual) <G>
It works fine with the remote - except for the dial.

I had exactly the same thing happen to my RV radio on our '04 Meridian. It was a defective unit. I took it out, brought it to a Winnebago dealer and they agreed it was defective. They ordered me a new one and I now have it installed...works perfectly. The Magnadyne owner's manual says there is a one year warranty on this radio, but Magnadyne informed me that there is a two year warranty on these units! Winnebago replaced mine at no cost. Yes, it is strange that the remote worked on my radio also but the dials certainly world not. Hope this helps

Yep, same thing here on my '04 Sightseer. After about a year and a half my radio did the same thing you described. It was not covered under Winnebago's warranty, but I called the manufacturer and after sending them my broken unit, they sent a new one at no charge.

The last timme I turned it on could not get it to light the dial.
Am not even inteesing in replacing the fuse, if I can buy a Quality
