2005 voyage 33v EMS Remote

Hello,

So I have a new 2005 Voyage 33v and I have been going through and fixing everything I can find. My latest project is the EMS panel is dark (Photo 1) - most things seemed to work fine, but I can't test the shedding features here until I install a 50/30 amp outlet. When I dug into it I found the EMS model 620 had leaked all the magic blue smoke out (photo_2) yeah, zoom in.

So jumped on amazon, not thinking and bought the same model number part... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ODJ5NN8...roduct_details except its not the same, well they are both Model 620's but the plug configurations is different. The remote panel plug has the same numbered pin out but different plug configurations. The older panel plug is a four pin square plug and the newer board is a rectangular 4 pin plug. I was able to chase down the remote pin outs of both main boards and they seem to be the same 1 thru 4.

But before I re-wire the plugs on the remote to match the new board, and create a bunch of sparks, I thought I would ask if it is as simple as that.. or do I need to replace the remote also.

Since this was posted to the wrong group, could a mod move it to the correct electrical group?

I moved it to the Tech forum, but actually there were a couple of others just as valid, including the “General” forum you started with.

People seem to not view by specific forum but by New Posts and the right sidebar. So, how much difference it makes is debatable.
