First place I would look is the appropriate fuse.

But then it takes takes two to work and checking which is missing may also be a good first stop?

Depending on how well you know the RV, which is easier to find and check? The fuse or the wiring at the seat?
If you look under the seat it is often easy enough to find the pair of wires and check if the power is getting there, In which case you don't need to hunt the fuse and you can also check that the ground is good.

But in either case, it may be a mechanical problem with binding, etc. and the electrical is not the true problem. How's the luck running these days??

Most of us find it not likely to be the first place we look!!
