Manual for new 2024 Micro Minnie 2108DS

I just bought a 2024 Micro Minnie 2108DS, and I'm already a bit frustrated with Winnebago, and I'd like to know what other new trailer owners are doing.

Yesterday I brought the trailer home, and this morning I went through the folder with all the manuals in it. There's no owners manual for the trailer! Dealership replied back saying Winnebago went to electronic manuals. Great. So unless a person plans ahead and downloads the manual and probably prints it before heading up into the mountains, he won't have the needed reference. Already it feels like Winnebago is going cheap on customer service and just trying to save a buck. I've heard of owners having the slide out stop working, and that reset procedure is in the manual.....if you have it with you. Otherwise, you're stuck.

Then, I go to the site to download a manual, and there isn't one for 2024 towables! This time the dealership says Winnebago told them to use the 2023 manual. Really. What about the new features, like the inverter prep. I'll figure it out, but I shouldn't have to. Plus, what other features are new and not in the 2023 manual?

Yes, I know I am making my first post on here complaining, and that may send the wrong message. However, I just came over from a Jayco (that had a current printed manual with it) to Winnebago in part because I'm used to hearing good things about Winnebago. Not getting a good first impression.

So, what are other new trailer owners doing?

Mike

Generally, It has not been customary for travel trailers to come with more than a plastic bag full of installation paperwork and maybe warranty info for various systems. This is across the industry, not just Winnebago. I’m surprised to hear that Jayco was different.

I know I had 3-travel trailers and this was the norm for them. Then we bought a Forest River Class C and this was still the case - a plastic bag full of worthless papers.

My Winnebago motorhome is the first with a meaningful Operator’s Manual.

I’m not saying it’s right for TTs to not have proper documentation, but it has been the industry standard procedure.

Sounds like Jayco was an anomaly, and yes, their manual was actually helpful and pretty well done. I guess the other mfr's like Winnebago could learn a lesson from them.

Seems very poor that we spent the same amount for this MM as my wife's Crosstrek, but the level of documentation is grossly less for this MM. The buyer's indoctrination the dealer had for the trailer's features was pretty good, but the lack of a manual to refresh my memory on something also sucks.
