Insalling Haloview BTC129 Markers/Cameras

I bought a 3 camera setup that includes the BT129 side cameras.

The way that the solar connector is located close to and at same height as the marker on the left side of the MM FLX, the BTC129 will not install since the camera does not clear the solar on the side connector. It would be worse with the Furion S system since the whole marker/camera is flush
It seems like my only choice is to remove the Solar on the Side connector and relocate it when I need to use external solar panels.

Any advice on how I should fill/cover the hole?

Any other advice on installation that I am not thinking of?

See pics.
