Snap hook curtains around the murphy bed

I bought my rig used. I didn't know to ask for (and I'm guessing the previous owners didn't need) the snap hook curtains that go around the murphy bed.

Anyone have thoughts on how to best gin up a solution that doesn't cost a bunch o' money?

Got anybody who can sew? My first thought would be to choose a fabric and let my wife sew it up, then rather than snap hooks which can be tough to snap on/ off without tearing out, I favor Velcro as an item easy to sew on. It has the advantage that you don't have nearly the trouble getting it on or off, even in the dark!
If not set to sew, I might suggest looking online for some person to do that part. Doesn't require too much skill so just anybody can sew enough to bind the edges.

For a less "pro" look, one can get by with simply folding over the edges and using some thing adhesive to fold the edges over and keep it from coming apart.

If it is a case of having the snaps already in place, one might look at trying to buy matching snaps for the curtain to match you have. Those can often be added to the curating by laying them out and tapping two parts together with a small hammer.

Replacement magnetic strips like meant for frig doors can be handy as an alternate.

Murphy bed curtains

I think you may use the curtains once, maybe twice if you persist. Unlike floor plans with the beds in the back, curtains do very little to isolate the bed and the rest of the coach. We put them up once. They are in storage for now.

We hung ours up right after buying the rig new, then took it down and stored it at home somewhere ().

Snap Hook Curtains Around the Murphy Bed

In our 2023 View 24D, my wife modified the curtains by putting them together to make one curtain. Then we took the back hook and moved it to the top corner of the refrigerator cabinet. When we hang it up now, it effectively runs from one side to the other which gives the bed privacy. But also when the bed is up it still provides floor to ceiling privacy for the back so you can have a dressing area with the front window curtains open. It is nice for when you are done with a shower so you don't have to get dressed in the bathroom.
