Minnie Winnie 31G cable tv

Ok, so it seemed simple enough. Hook coax to cable on campground pedestal, attach to input to the left of the entry door. Voila! Nothing. The coax was okay last time I used it with the previous coach. Was only there for one night so not a hundred percent sure everything was kosher with the campground set up but assuming it is, is it that simple or is there something else that I missing in the cable connection coach wise? I have not modified the system in any way and the DVD player in the coach will play to the three interior TVs. I haven't even turned on the exterior one to be quite honest. Changed the input on the TV to cable and scanned for channels but none were found.

Before I start to spend a lot of time troubleshooting I figured I would ask to see if there was something obvious I am missing. Reading the manual gave me the impression that that coax input on the exterior would only feed the exterior TV but I don't think that's correct.

Anyone out there with any knowledge of how this connection works?

4gone, you say that you "attach to input to the left of the entry door ". I believe that connection is an out feed only to provide a signal to the outdoor TV. For input of cable signal you should connect the campground cable to the connection on the driver side of the coach. At lest that's the way it is on my coach.

You might want to PM Motts461 he has a new 31 G and is well versed on cable and satellite connections.

I have a 31G and my cable in is in with my electric cord. Open the door and it should be on the top of the compartment. The other thing to check is that your antennae booster is not on.

Found it! Had to lay on the ground and look up in the air but yep it's mounted to the top of the compartment. Thanks!

OK, I'm new to this and I can't figure out my cable tv either. Should be simple. Plug into cable connection on the post. Plug other end into 'cable in' on drivers side. Watch tv, right? Doesn't work for me. I checked tv inputs, and no cable input. HDMI 1 or HDMI2 doesn't get me tv either. The searched for channels and all I got was analog stations. What am I doing wrong here?

Well, Start at the post and make sure it is working. Next check your coax going from post to camper, if all is good. Make sure your antennae booster is NOT on, that will cause a problem with cable from campground. On TV menu make sure you choose cable from wall when you do a search. If you are getting analog stations on all your TV's your interior cabling should be good. See if that helps, also what model do you have?
