Awning roll up w sunshade

Hi All,

I’ve a 2019 Aspect 30j w 13’ awning with metal roller cover.

Can you keep sunscreen inserted into the awning roller slide track when you bring it in?

Please share if you removed the shade each time, or left it in the grove when you rolled it up.

Thanks- that's the information for the screen. I was asking about the manufacturer and model of the awning- the part that came with the Winnebago.

I only ask because certain manufacturers put limits on what can be rolled up with their awnings.

On my coach (with an awning that may have been similar or not to yours):

1) the manufacturer's documentation said "not recommended," and
2) there was not enough space under the aluminum cover for any material other than the awning by itself.

So, I had to remove the sunshade each time I rolled up the awning. I got it down so I could do that in fewer than five minutes, including folding the sunshade and stowing it and its bungees.
