Windshield wiper hose barb?

Looking for the hose barb that screws into the Windshield Wiper Arm, for a 2004 Journey. Unable to locate anywhere. Would appreciate any help and suggestions as to where to look. Thank you. Tony Aqu

Surprised you haven't gotten an answer on this. You say yours is 'screwed into' the wiper arm? That's interesting. No plastic tubing than? Can you post a picture? A 'barb' type connection isn't usually screwed into anything, it's just forced into tubing and the barbs prevent leaks as their diameter is generally more then the tubing's ID.

Meanwhile, most automotive parts businesses have a carousel type rack where all sorts of plastic parts for all sorts of wiper washing types are displayed. Or have you already checked those out?

I attached a picture of the connection rod that holds one of the arms of the wiper and the hose barb for the washer hose. The barb has 8-32nd thread and 1/8 hose barb on the end. The fitting is not plastic, it is Brass or stainless steal. The company that made them is no longer in business. Most places that have these type of fittings do not have them this small. Was hoping someone may have found an alternate source. Thank You. Tony Aqu

I think our two coaches use the same wiper system?

If so, maybe this information will lead you in the right direction:

Call Rome Truck Parts... that's where I found the wiper cap.

Note: Apparently, this is an Australian company that makes this part, but I have no idea if they can help you find your other parts.

BTW, I think the hose diameter if 5/32" and you will have trouble replacing it with 1/8" hose, but I could be wrong. I can't remember.

Also, FYI, I buy my wiper blades at Walmart. They seem to be the only place that carries the type with a bolt hole and is thin enough to fit in the wiper pantograph. Fortunately it's sold at Walmart for only $7 I think... cuz, no way I want to pay $30 for a Trico type blade at a Truck Stop or RV store... which usually does not have the right wiper for my RV anyway! So if you find these at Walmart, I recommend you pick up extras!
