Whirlpool Refrigerator Ice Maker

My Whirlpool refrigerator broke down after 4 years of varied use. The new exact replacement comes without an ice maker. My question is, "Is the ice maker and important item for resale if I sell my rv?" "Is the ice maker an important item or will the old ice trays be sufficient?" Yes, I can add it. I don't travel with kids.

I'd guess RV owners are about evenly spit on this issue, I read quite often about RV owners removing the ice maker, preferring a counter-top ice maker or using the old-fashoned trays.
It's your RV, do as you wish to make it yours. We have friends who full-time, they removed the ice maker to gain the added freezer space and never regretted the decision.

I once had an aunt that never used her oven because she was concerned about trade-in value.

If you need the freezer space , take it out and put a maker on counter . Then freeze it . Lots of ice , might want to keep it .
