AAV's were my problem. Those are air admittance valves. There's one under each sink and at the washer dryer if you have one. They allow black and gray tank odor into the RV if you have only one vent pipe through the roof. I found spring loaded ones at my local Home Improvement center and that solved my odor problem.

I think mine has regular traps under each sink, don't know about the shower though.

The AAV's work WITH P-traps, not INSTEAD of. In a Stick and brick, every drain, whether it be a sink, or tub will have a vent pipe that goes up to the roof. You need to let air into the drain pipe with the water, or it will "glug". In an RV it is not possible to plumb in the roof vent to all the sinks.

Therefore there will be one tucked up in the top corner of the vanity cabinets, beside, or behind each sink. They need to be mounted higher than the drain obviously.

Stick your nose into the cabinet under all your sinks and if there is a strong sewer smell in the vanity cabinet, then the AAV will be the culprit, not your toilet.

AAV's are a one way valve that allows air into the drain pipe to assist with draining, but they should not allow air/gas out (sewer smell) however over time they get a coating of dust/grime on the sealing surface and no longer seal properly.

They are a simply gravity operated system, no springs, I usually just change them out, as the those supplied in the RV are low quality so I replace them with a better quality one. A frugal friend has had success taking them apart and cleaning them. You can get them at most of the DIY places like Home Depot. A few different brands, the Oatley one shown below
