I’m in need of a new camera and monitor. I can find 4pin cameras amazon or eBay or sites mention here, but I cannot figure out how the sony camera is connected inside the rear wall/cap? I don’t find a access door for the connector. They have a box for the center brake light in the closet.
I pulled out the grommet but camera cable is attached to something inside the Rear wall? Any person knowledgeable about it please let me know.

On my MH, the connector from the camera to the cable running forward to the monitor, is just accessed by removing the camera from the back cap, and pulling up some of the wire. The in-line connector on mine, was wrapped with tape, although it seems to be a weatherproof connector. HTH

I pull and pull it, afraid to tear it off apparently it’s attached to something inside the rear wall. I’m probably going to measure location on inside of closet and cut access hole.

It would be a help to everyone wanting to help you if you said what model, floorplan and year your RV was. We all have no idea.

Better yet, put that info in your Signature in your Profile here and we'll never have to ask for it again.

Click UserCP on top menubar - far left on the menu
Click Edit Signature
Complete Signature with year, model and floorplan of your RV
Click Save Signature.

Sorry assuming that you could view it. I entered the information on my rv in profile section under user ID when I registered for the site. Resurrection of a 1994 Vectra P30 Workhorse chassis. WCM34RA. 25K miles, been sitting on a storage lot since 2004. Lots of deferred maintenance and reconditioning. Just got it inspected and registered and driven to my property to complete the repairs.
I’m not familiar with the signature but will look into it later. Also how to post a photo.
