Pin latch for sliding TV

The front TV in the Via slides out for viewing when the dining slideout is in. It is a spring loaded pin the fits into or behind a plastic part that is screwed onto the wall behind the TV. On our TV the pin slips out from behind the plastic part while driving allowing the TV to slide out into the aisle which I have temporarily remedied by shimming the bracket that holds the pin with a door shim, forcing it closer to the wall so it can't clear the retaining latch so easily . Can someone verify if my plastic latch part is missing something? It seems like there should be a "ramp" shape for the pin to slide up on, and that the whole piece should be thicker to retain the pin behind it, or even have a hole for the pin to drop into. I have ideas on how to make something but it would help if anyone who has a sliding TV could take a look and maybe post a picture of what it is supposed to look like. I found mention of the pin in the parts catalog but no mention of the latch/catch or whatever you would call it.

All fixed, piece of 1.5" X .25" aluminum bar drilled for the pin and ground a ramp with a 1/2" air belt sander, fitted it into the pin then mounted it. It now latches securely and does not bump around when driving due to the loose, sloppy plastic retainer that was there, nor will it slide out on it's own anymore.
