You see, the weight of the C-7 CAT, 330 HP engine in our coach, is 1295 lbs. I'm not being argumentative here, and, I'm always willing to learn. But, like I said, that kind of weight would not be easy to just stick on a chassis some place. If someone who, might have a 32T happens to know of that weight and placement of it, I'd sure like to see it just to satisfy my own curiosity.

I don't think it's hidden, I think it's bolted onto the chassis in the front, easy to see.
I remember my sales guy showing me the plate on the 32 though, saying without it the thing would just keep going straight when you turned the wheel. LOL. He suggested going with the 34 or 36, they balanced out without the extra weight. Perhaps it's just an invalid memory. <shrug> He was a great sales guy, bought two motorhomes from him and would buy another. He was at Mike Thompsons for a lot of years, then McMahons, I wonder what he's doing now with them closing. "Cowboy" George Penz.
It'a been a lot of years, like when those coaches were new because I had looked at them when I was shopping. Ended up getting the new gas coach because I couldn't justify the payments on the diesel. They are nice rigs though. I actually like the HR/Monaco Knight as it had the big-block motor. The ISB was a little underpowered, was slower than, well, you know.
As a comparison however, Journey/Meridian to Adventurer//Suncruiser and Voyage/Sunrise the contruction, appliances, interior finish, cabinets, slides, fixtures, pretty much everything is about the same across all the platforms. The basic difference was the chassis. And the price. LOL. When I look at photos of motorhomes for sale in the same vintage as what I have, I see the same windows, oven and microwave, TV, fixtures, cabinet work, etc. The DP's just ride so much nicer though, and more carrying capacity. I'm happy with the smaller coach on the same chassis they build all the way to 38'. The 31W is a really good performer with the 8.1.
Would enjoy seeing pics of the OP's new to them Journey. Getting a new RV is just a ball'o fun.
