Drivers Side Front Kwikee Electric Slide Stop Working

On our 2008 Sightseer 34M the drivers front side slide motor stopped working. It's an electric Kwikee slide and gives us an error code of 6. We tried the manual instructions and that end of the slide still won't retract or extend. We have to have someone push the front end of the slide while I operate the wall panel. Once retracted the front bottom of the slide sticks out a little more than the rest of the slide. Same thing when we extend it the front bottom is loose and doesn't fully extend. When I called Lippert the guy said it could be the motor, controller, or actuator. Has anyone experienced this problem and what fixed yours? Hate to throw money at parts that aren't needed and finding these parts may not be easy either since Lippert no longer carries the parts. Thanks for any foresight you might have.

You can download the service manual for your make/model slide mechansm from: https://support.lci1.com/slide-outs/
You already know the motor and controller is good because you used it to retract the rear of the room.
If the front motor and controller was good and heard running, then the shear pin might be _ er, sheared.
DO NOT replace a shear pin with a hard bolt, you want the cheapest easiest to replace part to fail first, instead of the expensive parts.

Update:
Slide was repaired at Wippert RV in Yucaipa (great family-owned business). There was a small plastic nut deep inside the slide mechanism tube right next to the motor that apparently breaks quite often along with a bent cotter pin. Parts were very inexpensive but unfortunately labor to tear everything down wasn't. Great job though and working great now!
