2022 Adventurer wet bay

There is what appears to be a 2 prong connection in the wet bay of our new coach.
It's not addressed in the owners manuals. I can't find a layout guide that would show it. I'm not sure what it is. Anyone have any ideas?

"2-Prong Connection.... could it be the water filter cartridge attachment? I can't figure out what it might be:

Creative, thanks for the response. The item I'm talking about is to the right of where your pic shows. To the right of the shower wand. It's covered by a rubber cap. I'm trying to post a pic.......

I wish the picture was actually of the two prongs? I don't see two prongs, I am assuming you mean the round black thing to the right of the sprayer?

I gonna guess until it is a better picture or someone has your coach.

Could it be power to supply an optional macerator pump? I installed power t feed my Flo-Jet macerator pump. It is 12vdc.

Open it up and zoom in to get a picture of the prongs you mentioned.

I bet if you put a voltmeter on it, you may get 12vdc when you press the switch next to it?

I'm going to guess it's the external plug for the portable solar. Usually I see these in the power bay, but I can't figure out what else it could be, and it does have two prongs for a Zamp SAE plug. The factory must have been out of Solar Plug stickers that day.

Wow, they've put the cable, sateliite inputs in there, too. That's also unusual.

Next question... do you have a residential fridge or a RV fridge (propane/AC)?

And, if you have a residential fridge do you have a 1000w or 2000w inverter? And, along with that, do you have any solar panels OEM from the factory on the roof?

If we knew these things we could tell you more about connecting a portable solar suitcase to that plug.

Thanks for all of the help, everyone!

I have a new Adventurer 35f. It has a residential fridge, a 2000 watt inverter and solar panels on the roof. All original.

I'll get a better pic tomorrow.

Thanks again!

Now that that is done, I would like to know why Winnebago put that solar plug and the cable connections in the Wet Bay Makes me wonder what is in your Electrical Bay? I don't have Solar, but my cable connections that you show pictured are in my Electrical bay.

Some more info for you on this.

Because you have factory solar that means you have a solar charge controller and the external plug is wired directly to it. If you do decide to get some portable solar panels to use with this plug make sure they do not come with a built in solar controller - they are available both with and without.

Do you have one solar panel on the roof or more than that? Do you know if it’s 100w or is it higher.

Winnebago used to just install one 100w panel, but they do charge things up frequently.

And, get this, there are two water pump switches in the same bay??? Huh? Why?

I assume that other switch is the waste pump - another grey tank? My 29VE has that to empty the outdoor kitchen and it is piped in just behind (in between) the grey and black near the connection to your hose to the sewer. I believe I see a similar configuration.

Looking again at 35F floor plan and specs, it has 2 black tanks for the two toilets so in this case it's likely the secondary black tank.

It does say Waste Pump on the right hand switch. Without blowing it up I thought it said "Water" not "Waste."

My Adventurer has two toilets, but only one black tank. And they put a Tecma brand maceator toilet in the master bath to pump waste to the one central black tank. The Tecma is an expensive toilet at around $1,400. I guess they put in two gravity feed toilets and then put a maceator pump from one black tank to the tank dump plumbing to save a few bucks.

The coach is the 35f, which has a bath and a half. The half bath has it's own black tank. The bath is on the passenger side of the coach, so the separate black tank is there, directly under the bath. It has a macerator and pumps to the connection in the wet bay, which also has the macerator to pump from the half bath to the dump valve 8n the wet bay. I like the way it's set up b/c it totally isolates the black tanks.

The other switch controls the water pump.

So, the wet bay includes:
Cable TV port
Main portable satellite port
Aux portable satellite port
Whole house water filter
Water pump switch
Fresh h20 water fill valve
Fresh h20 inlet
Shower
The solar panel plug
Gray waste drain
Waste pump
2 black h20 dump valves
Gray h20 dump valve
H2o manifold. For hot/cold h2o pex lines
I'm with everyone on why the electric items in the wet bay.
The electric bay contains the Fresh h2o tank drain, the black h20 flush port and the 50 amp shore power cord. Begs the same general question, why the h2o items in the electric bay?
I did lol about them being out of labels that day!

Thanks again, everyone!
