2002 Winnebago Instrument Panel

I have a 2002 Winnebago Journey DL For the life of me, I can't find the explanation for the small rocker switch on the upper right hand side of the instrument panel. This switch is spring loaded so it always returns to the original position. It is located just to the right of the instrument lighted cluster

My instrument panel was totally not working the last time I started my 2002 Journey. I tried wiggling wires for the ignition switch AND hit that switch while it had been idling for a while. Next thing I knew, my instrument panel was fully working. Not sure what caused it to not work or what made it start working. But it made me wonder if it was a reset switch?

That probably is the trip odometer reset switch!
That's what it is on my 2002 Itasca Horizon

Yeah, in my '02 Journey, it resets the trip mileage. And raises and fills the roof top hot tub. Probably. Haven't been up there in a while.

The switch is to reset your mileage trip meter as everyone says. You old it down for about 3 seconds and release when your mileage is reset to zero.

This same switch will also toggle between Miles and Kilometers if you only hold it for 1-2 seconds, if I remember right?

If you hold that button for more than 5 seconds... the passenger seat will drop thru a trap door in the floor. (A little known secret.) Winnebago use to placard this, but in 1995 they remove the placard at the request of the NTSB.
