04 Sightseer Trailer Wiring 12v constant
Any one figure out the trailer harness wiring schmatic?
I need a 12 volt constant for the trailer interior lights, and there is no constant 12 volt line at the plug?. .
It was BRILLIANT of the winnebago engineers to make sure ALL the wires were the same color. . . HOLY COW?! You think this was a British Triumph?! What a STUPID idea.
Is everyone running directly to the battery?
I'd LIKE to be able to cut the power off to the trailer with the interior disconnect switch. . . but that just seems too simple.
ANY input would be great.
Thanks
Big Bave.

Although the wires are all the same color they print a descriptor on each wire about every six inches.
You can download the schematics for your coach from the Winnbago site and the wires and where they go can be followed by using the descriptor.

Hamguy?: . . . sup with that?
Clay L: yes 145777 2TR is the only one no doing anything
I have the schematic, and I cant find out where ther are traced to. . . it REALLY shouldnt require me doing everything I have had to do.
Frustrated, I just ran a 12v fused line from the batteries. Not ideal, but time is money. . . and based on that, I spent way too much money researching this.

you probably don't want what you were asking for: using the inside disconnect would turn off all the 12v power to everything including your fridge ... then you would have warm beer and the ice cream would be melted when you came back from your ride ......

Hamguy: Yes I was, and yes I do. . . THANKS!
I did want it to go off with the rest of the electrical, incase one of my teenagers brain fart and leave a light on in the trailer.
Like the idea of tieing into the generator hot. . . that would do the trick.
Thanks all!
Happy Holidays!!!!
