I was replacing my front tv when the old one went south and found a big spool of wire that looked like cb cable and going to the top of the rv. could when winnie was putting this together they forgot to run this wire to the dash , I did not do anything with it and installed the new tv but I have a old cb and was wondering how much work it would be to run this cable to my dash . I have a 2003 Sightseer on a ford chassie .

charlie78, welcome to the forum
Before you button up the TV run that cable over to the "A" post drivers side to under your dash. Just take out screws on panel should see channel for wire to run down. May have to fish wire across ceiling above windshield to channel.
If it is cb cable should have large screw on plug on end of cable.
Enjoy the forums and post often.

Could be CB antenna line, but more likely coax for rooftop satellite dish. They may put it in standard whether or not a dish is installed. I believe the CB cable comes down the driver's side a-pillar and under the dash from that side. I would make sure what it goes to before going to the trouble to string it to under the dash...

I would bet that it is cable for Satellite dish conn. Usually gray in color. If it were the CB cable it would be black with the connection on it.

My CB cable was in a plastic bag up under the left side of the dash. It also had the power wire inthe bag. But this was on a 2001 Adventurer 35U.

I'm also betting it's the cable for a satellite dish. When I installed our dish I cut a hole in the roof per the instructions in the manual (and the decal on the roof). Directly below the hole was a coil of grey cable with a label attached for the dish.

Thanks for all the quick replays. It was a black cable and looked like a cb conecter at the end of it . In the spring I might go to a 20 in lcd TV and when I got it out I will hook up my cb to it and see waht happens. Thanks Again.
