Always good to find the folks who have the actual hands on RV to look at as there are so many options and RV change so much over the years.
My main experience with running cables in RV was so long back that many would not know it was even done that way ! Back in the day when mobile phones were something a limited number of people had as it was so expensive! Terribly complex to install and even more expensive to use! No idea of what installs cost but talk time was 40 cents a minute, and that only counted if you could find a signal and an open channel!
Ten channels available in any given area!
My job was to screw the big transmitter to the RV somewhere, run cables from it to the head unit that we screwed down at some point agreeable to the customer, normally near the driver, and then try to figure how to get cables to the batteries, antenna on the roof, and between the unit and head!
It always made my heart beat faster when a brand new, super special car came in to let me drill a 3/4 inch hole in the center of the roof!
With two people doing the install, we usually only kept the car for one full day!
