Replace larger and bulky recliner
On my 04 Adventurer it has a larger recliner positioned behind the passenger seat. I would like to replace the recliner with a slimmer chair and maybe a foot stool. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I replaced mine with one from Wayfair. Not the finest chair ever made, but looks fine and is comfortable with separate ottoman (which I put in the chair seat for travel). I think it was about $300, not more. I cut off all the wires, since I wasn't interested in heat or vibration. Much nicer and slimmer than the Winnebago chair, which went to Goodwill.

Not to hijack this tread, but do you guys tie or fasten your chairs in anyway for travel?

I replaced my Flexsteel recliner with a Stressless. Actually I have 2 Stressless recliners, one with a foot rest and one without. They are a bit pricey, but very comfortable. I also like the fact that I can pick them up and move them when needed. And no I don't tie them down. I have one on tile and one on carpet.

Mine is sitting on carpet, and doesn't move at all during driving. If it were on tile or wood, I would likely have to secure it.

We replaced the large recliner rocker in our previous DSDP with a LaZBoy rocker recliner. Also took out the hide a bed and replaced it with two LaZBoy rocker recliners.
In the present rig we took out the Stressless and replaced it with a LaZBoy rocker recliner.
Have never needed to secure any of them when moving.

I guess my concern is if there is a crash and any loose items may fly forward into the driver's compartment. Any concerns there?

We have been class A motorhomers since 1985, and have never come close to a crash. Of course, it could happen, but I would think an unsecured recliners would be the least of my concerns.
