Rear View Camera Monitor 2001 Vista 36D

I have a 2001 Vista 36D MH. The monitor for the rear view camera is messed up. The buttons are smashed and don't work anymore. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? I only have one camera that watches the toad.

A search does not find that brand, MotionVision. It must be obsolete and NLA. There are several alternatives depending on how many cameras are desired.
This rear camera system has a 7" monitor: https://www.rearviewsafety.com/catal...ilt-in-sensors
Personally I have a Voyager wireless camera system, which is now 10 yrs. old and works like new.

So, would I have to get a whole new system, or can I get a different monitor that will work with the camera that is there?

Buying only a monitor is a crap-shoot. If you decide to go that route I'd buy from Amazon and make sure their liberal return policy applies.
I would not buy a cheap monitor or rear camera setup from Amazon. They operate on the 2.4ghz frequency, same frequency as cordless house phones. You'll get a lot of interference in populated areas which make it unusable.

I expect that your existing system is hard-wired and not wireless, so you may need to replace the whole system unless you can get a replacement wired monitor that can read the data!

I installed a wireless camera system in my RV and haven't had any problems with interference!

Bobn the frequency of operation depends on interference. The cheap units ($30) like I bought for my pickup use the very common 2.4 ghz. The better quality use a different band entirely to eliminate interference in large cities.
