Are you talking about the Minnie 2630MLRK that has a CVWR of 8800 pounds?
If so, I would recommend a good 3/4 ton truck with max tow package. We really load up the trailer and the truck when we hit the road. I never want to be over about 75% of my capacity so when I hit high winds and/or big mountains, I am comfortable and safe.
You just have to look at the CVWR of your trailer and match the TV accordingly. I have found that RV and truck dealers are generally clueless about towing. If you ever hear the term "you won't even know it is back there", run.
Also, I think vehicle manufacturers stretch their capability. You have to read the fine print. Also, consider a good 4 point weight distribution hitch. I use the Equal-i-zer and have been pleased.
