Welcome to the home of the Hag and Buck! Might be the last thing you're thinking about and you might not have time - but we had to divert there last year due to the crazy weather around Sequoia and Kings Canyon and a drive to Tehachapi is pretty worthwhile.
One to see the Loop and two, the best brisket we've ever had at the Red House.

Not sure if your going into Oregon, but the Columbia River Maritime museum in Astoria is amazing as well - great stories of the CG

Good luck and safe travels

Yesterday we spent 7 hours in the camping world of Bakersfield waiting for our forza to get repaired. Nice place and nice people. Spent last night in the KOA again, and soon we will be heading north on I5 towards hwy 20. We're so happy that we can use our water systems. It was a bit challenging for 4 days. Cheers.

Made it to Willits CA. Yesterday. 441 miles. We should be at our destination this afternoon after some routine maintenance and laundry. It's raining and looks like rain for a few more days. Where we camp there's water and electric, but they do have a dump station. Have to use the blue boy for the next 3 or 4 weeks. That's the downside.

I brought my Ebike on this trip, and glad I did. It fits in one of the basement compartments ( folded up)
Here's a new trail system I found. Next thing I'm planning on doing is connecting my "blue boy waste tank" to my bike rack so I can use the bikes power to move my tank to the dump station without hurting my back. The bike has a walk feature that allows you to use the bikes power when you have to walk it up a hill or wherever. Going to give it a try today.

Looks like a great plan!
My kids used to talk we should paint it like a red wagon so people would just think they were playing instead of working! Too embarrassing for them to get caught WORKING?
NOT their favorite assignment!
