DVD disapeared from menu in Infotainment center

Put a cd in the player on our infotainment center and nothing happened so I went to menu, the cd/ dvd icon has disapeared from my menu, when I hit the eject button it dims and brightens the screen, won't eject the cd. The cd spins constantly and gets very hot but won't play. Has anyone had this happen or have a suggestion on what to do? This is in a 2016 Cambria. Talked to dealer, he has never seen this happen before..

Just a couple of ideas to try. First I would turn off the tv and the dvc player, wait a few minutes and turn them on again. May help. If the dvd label on the menu is gone, check to see if the data cable is fully plugged in - to tv, to dvd player, and to any selector box you might have. Then you could plug the cable into a different input on the tv, see if any difference. Let us know what happens. Thanks.

You might also try pulling the fuse to it and waiting a minute or so. Probably not under warrantee from mfgr anymore...likely just 90 days but you should check. Also go online to their site and contact tech support. Good luck, I hope you can fix it painlessly.

Have you used a new SD card or removed the card?

Its an in dash entertainment center. I should have explained that in my message. Thank You though for your reply. It is under warranty, just was hoping I could figure it out and not have to take it to the dealer.
Thanks again and Have a Happy New Year.

Thanks, I'll try pulling the fuse and see if that works.
It is still under warranty, if all else fails I'll take it back to dealer.
Happy New Year

Got it fixed! we disconnected the negative battery cable for 30 minutes, when we reconnected the cable the DVDs player was back on menu. Thank you for all your suggestions.
