Does anyone have the part number handy for the damper motor? Looks like we (DH and I) have to remove the micro and take it to an appliance place to be repaired. I couldn't or at least not yet find a person to come to the coach and do the work. What a PITA!!

Thanks

UPDATE to the 59 second problem.

I went to a local RV repair guy here in Indiana and he basically blew me off on fixing the micro but did refer me to a small appliance repair shop in Lafayette, Indiana. Appliance Specialist 911 Main St. Lafayette, Indiana 765-423-4332. He is a Sharp repairman as well as lots of other manafacturers.

Went by to see him and tell him the problem along with a print out of the discussions on the formum. He said it's a common problem but Sharp had posted no bulletins about it.

So also explained that we (DH and I) couldn't remove the micro so could he come to us? YEP no problem. Today he came as scheduled, took the thing out, repaired it and reinstalled it. He did mention he had never seen so many screws holding a micro in ever. My guess is there were about 15 different screws he had to undo to get it out.

He replaced the damper motor and the switch and the micro works like a charm. I also have to say that even if we could have gotten the thing off the wall we would not have attempted the repair after watching him.

If you're in this area stop by and tell them HOWDY. Great small shop and very nice people. He did say he is the only authorized Sharp repair shop for the overall area.

I did email Sharp for help and they basically said take it to a shop for repair. No other info.
