Tire blowouts, SUVs?

After watching the SUV tire blowout fiasco due to tire pressures too low several years ago, I do not trust vehicle manufacturers to do the right thing.

Sounds like Freightliners still handle badly. We had a Newmar Country Star Diesel Pusher 36' we purchased new in 2002, built on a Freightliner. Had similar intermittent problems due to a bad ground....
