I would try the "Muddypaws" Thermistor Modifcation to see if it may help your situation.

Just do a search to find out how it did it.

Something about putting a small piece of a foam coffee cup...

Only if the thermistor is your problem. There could be many other reasons for the fridge not being at the proper temperatures.

Without the thermistor in the circuit, the fridge goes into Backup...
