Its been a while since I had the V10 but I can tell you that it reaches its peak torque of 425 ft. lbs. @ 3250 rpm and peak 362 hp @ 4750 rpm. Dropping below 3200 rpm I would not advise as the torque...

Peak horsepower for your V-10 is 362 @ 4750 RPM and there is no reason not to use it when climbing grades. It may get noisey in the cab but its better than lugging and possibly overheating the...
