Follow up

so the dealer (Findlay RV, Las Vegas) took our unit in yesterday and fixed almost everything that was wrong, one was wrong part and the other was something that just became an issue in the past week...

I think I would just go to LOWES and get a large cork to use while driving, I would take it out when you get where you are going so it will vent.
