Looking forward to our new FLX2108TB

Just sold our 1808 FBS trailer and looking forward to picking up our new FLX2108TB trailer at the end of March. We have been sold on the quality build of Winnebago Travel trailers and look forward to exploring more of Northern Vancouver Island in April.

Did you order your new flx and did they give you end of March as the delivery time frame? We are thinking we may have to order what we want since what we want doesn't seem to be in stock at too many places. We are looking for a 2108fbs flx with the couch in the slide and they seem to be really scarce. There are two in Texas but that is a lot further than we wanted to go.

Which brings up a question we have, how will warranty and other service work be handled when we do NOT live near the dealer where we purchased the unit? Can we take the trailer to the factory in Indiana for service? That would be closer for us than back to Texas.

When you get your trailer please post something about the process of taking delivery.

We actually found a new last years model FLX. We purchased a new 2022 FLX 2108TB in another Province in Canada and are waiting out the weather to pick up this trailer. I have been informed that warranty is registered directly with Winnebago and not the individual dealers therefore we should be able to address any warranty issues at other Winnebago dealerships.

We picked up our new trailer April 5th and unfortunately the dealership did a very poor walk thru. The FLX features were barely touched on as the service manager (apparently took a required course) forgot how most things worked. I decided using the manuals and FLX threads on this forum would help out the most.
The heating system worked fantastic during our travel days but the slide quit working on day three. The slide would not extend fully and appeared to extend uneven. We decided to travel that way without using the slide which is a pain but still doable.
We are back at home and a local dealership has agreed to work on the warranty claim for the slide issue.
