We had a nice day today, and tomorrow won't be too bad either.
HOWEVER
Rain is coming for the following nine days.

We’re in Tucson, so we missed it (the same for the big storm two years ago), but our daughter is at our house, she’s five months pregnant and just now sending us photos of huge downed limbs all around our house from heavy ice.

The storm is over but the cleanup will be pretty big.

At present she’s trapped because of downed limbs blocking our driveway.

We’re trying to get it cleared for her, but our neighbor is out of town until late tonight and his is just as bad as ours.

We have something like 50 Live Oak trees on our property. It’s a real mess. The ice was half inch thick.

The power went out around 8am at home yesterday and our daughter was super worried. But it came back on by 1pm and has been up ever since. She’s 5-months along and stresses out about everything. Lots of places around our area have no power but our neighborhood has all under ground power so once the substation was restored we drew the lucky card and our entire neighborhood is back up.
