2022 Micro Minnie FLX Antenna

Any suggestions on how one hooks up to the antenna on the roof of trailer? I popped open the "King Internet" plate by the TV and its just a hole in the wood. There is nothing there. I have a Verizon Wifi. Is that antenna, assuming I can figure out how to get a wire to it, compatible with a cellular hotspot?

Greetings Vandikar1,
I dropped my Verizon service because it was so expensive. Sadly, I doubt that the Verizon WiFi would function as a Hotspot, but I really don't know.
I just took a trip on the Yakima River where we just had a cell tower, and I used my new Hotspot Puck. It worked very well, and I didn't need to install an external antenna.
Here is my posting on the puck:
Patriot Mobile Hotspot Puck
Over three days, I used 4 GB, so my bill for this month is $30 (for up to 10 GB of data transfer.)
My normal "not using it very much" bill is $15 (for up to 2 GB of data transfer.)
Welcome to the forum,
Eagle5

Hi, if you go to the King RV products website you can see what is available to purchase to use that "Wifi Ready" port on your ceiling. Here's the link:

https://kingconnect.com/

It may be cynical of me to say so, but it's a Marketing gimmick. King pays Winnebago and a half dozen other manufacturers to put this on the ceiling of various RVs in the hope that you'll go to their website and purchase the two or three items they sell to complete the system.

One thing going for this scheme is it's simple. If you want to dig into mobile internet you'll need to be fairly Tech Savvy and do plenty of research. OR, you can purchase the parts that King sells and make do with a flawed but complete system without the hassle.
