What is this for?

Just purchased a 1998 Winnebago Vectra Grand Tour and found this trap door in the hall closet. Some kind of a tank plumbed.

I don't know which model you have, but you should be able to find the Plumbing diagram for your coach at this site: Winnebago Plumbing Diagrams

I suspect that it's a tank for RV AntiFreeze as part of the built-in winterization system.

I'll bet that the function is described in the operator's manual, which is also available via Winnebago's website.
