We are just back from being gone for a couple of days with the toad and we are headed out the door early am tomorrow and will be back in another couple of days.

I promised pictures of version 2.0 of the fueling wedge; they are now posted and there is a link off of my RV page.

I'm from the gummint and want to know the Mil Spec on that wedge.

Thudman, in a non-foaming gasser (so far)

I didn't see any way of locking up that high tech, expensive device. I'm sure onlookers are green with envy and would love to have a chance to walk off with it.

Have you applied for a patent yet?

The real issue is whether or not this is a universal wedge or if it's a left hand only. If so, you'd have to design a right hand wedge for the other side.

Also, while it may be open source (the gas fillers have "doors", not "Windows" ) you will still want to provide tech support for it. Do you speak Pakistani?

Version 3.0 will include Mac support

Would a "gasser" model be considered Vaporware?

Help me out here, I'm not too good with techy speak.

Never mind "left" and "right" handed models....Is there a male and a female user version as well?

(I would suspect the "male" model would not come with directions??)

Just think Jim....if the companies that sold this stuff did a little more research, they could actually reduce their production costs by not including directions in the packages they sent to men, therefore reducing the price men pay for a particular item.

Never understood all those extra papers in the box anyway!

Just kidding folks!!

Hey John,
You mentioned that you are filling up at Pilot using their ˜Truck' nozzles. Does Pilot have a discount for RV's that I don't know about that's better than Flying J that makes using ˜Truck' nozzles worth the hassle? Every Flying J we've been to has an RV island with normal sized normal flow rate nozzles on their diesel pumps. We fill from both sides and can top off the tank with 80 gallons or more in about 12 minutes or so. Their 1 cent per gallon discount to RV owners brings them in at 2 to 4 cents per gallon under T.C. of A., Loves, and Pilot most every time we've checked.

When we start out on a long trip, I go to the truck stop web sites and download the diesel fuel prices across the country. Then we plan our fuel stops accordingly. Check these links if you haven't already.

http://www.flyingj.com/fuel/diesel_CF.cfm
http://www.travelcentersofamerica.com/taweb/Content/Sit...sel.aspx?page_id=200
http://www.loves.com/allstatesfuel_prices.asp
http://www.pilotcorp.com/Locations/T...cing_List.aspx
http://www.petrotruckstops.com/fuel_search.sstg?interst...&search_form=1&sort=

Or for a quick look at these and others prices (only updated twice a week) try this link:

http://www.dieselboss.com/

Let us know if there is a discount! Oh, and for the right price, I could machine a nice wedge for you out of 7075T6 Aluminum.

Aluminum sounds great. I would match my aluminum foil hat.
