Jackknife sofa Micro Minnie FLX 2108TB

I am purchasing a FLX2108TB with the Jackknife sofa. While I am aware that the slide out with the dinette must be out to use it, I would like to know if the jackknife couch can be use (sat on) while the slide is in?
Would like to be able to use the couch on the road without opening the slide.
Thank you in advance

I’m sure this won’t change any minds and probably plenty of people use slides while in with no problems however the majority of information I’ve consumed regarding slides is that no slides are designed to be used while in regardless of manufacturer. (Slide or RV). In the video linked below at 2:54 he talks about this and some of what he’s saying makes sense. I don’t think I would risk it regardless of the lack of ability to prove using it while in caused an issue but more because a failed slide will likely put you out for months.

Thx Wayne, appreciate the video. Also since you have a DS I was wondering what mattress you have on your Murphy and the size? It looks as though it can allow for a queen (60x74) but what is the thickest mattress the space will allow and still latch.

I mentioned it in another post so this is a copy and paste from that post. We went with a Custom Mattress Factory hinged mattress (made in USA). We got the 8” Kinsley 56” wide by 74” long with the hinge 32” down from the head. I had read in a different thread where someone is using a standard mattress and folding it like a taco. That’s basically what we do. Before we fold the bed up we fold the head over at the hinge towards the foot, then lift the bed to the up position. There’s enough room in the space between the mattress and the front of the camper we store our pillows up into that area. I don’t think I would want to go much wider than the 56” but it may be possible to squeeze another inch or two. Also at 8” the areas under the wardrobes are a little difficult to access from bed. I’m 5’11” and I certainly wouldn’t want to go any shorter on the bed but it works for me.
