Itasca Sonova v 10 fuel filter.

Can I buy a fuel filter for this at NAPA or order online? Thanks.

Filter

Yes you can but there are two types on the app that I had to choose from on my 2003. One is larger than the other. Not sure on your newer model. You need a small tool to release the flange fittings. They probably have it. Good luck, Travato John

I thought the Ford V10 fuel filter is built into the tank? This is from the Ford F53 manual. Is this only for the F53 Chasis?

That's great news if it's so. I just assumed it had the old style with a "T" fitting to feed the generator. I'll bet your right. I'd crawl around under it but I'm parked in the grass and fire ants are all around. I'm just making a list of things I want to do when I get it home.

Ford did away with the inline fuel filter around 2012. So it depends what year your chassis is...

Driver's side frame rail, middle of the wheelbase or so.

Rock Auto lists a few different makes:

I thought it would have something like this? I'll get under it tomorrow and make sure.

^^ That's a Workhorse filter, not Ford.

You are correct. I just thought it would be similar. I crawled under it and it looks like a standard item. D/S near the tyranny. Only got one fire ant bite too.

I have the 2004 Ford F53 chassis. Looks similar to that Workhouse photo. Yes, most parts outlets carry the filter. You will need the special tool for the flanges, a few dollars at the parts place. Took me maybe 10 minutes to change it out. Fairly easy. Do wrap a rag around the flanges to catch the spray. The system is pressurized and squirted about 4 ounces of gasoline on me.
