Fresh water fill connection

Hello,
I have a 2004 Itasca Sunova 27C P32 Workhorse chassis with the GM 4L85e transmission. At my Tank Fill/City Water fill connection I installed a 90 degree faucet, during the installation, the tank fill connector turned. Does anyone have the water fill plumbing diagram for my rv. My concern is, I twisted a hard to get to fill line? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Not enough information. Is anything leaking? With the 90 degree faucet can you connect and disconnect, if you can hold the faucet? I learned a LONG TIME AGO that if you connect to the plastic RV fill fitting with a real brass fitting, with sharp threads, you have a lot less problems. I connected with a simular 90 degree valve and leave it connected. Shutting the valve, with the hose disconnected, closes off the tank, without a plug.

Mtn Charlie,
Haven't tried it yet, will be soon. Thanks for the feed back, It is a brass valve. Will have to use a female to female connector to correct gender connection.

We don't get the really nice interactive drawing for that year, only from 2010 forward, but taking a look at the drawings we do get for your RV here:
https://www.winnebago.com/Files/File...04/4ipd27c.pdf

This seems to be the standard connection for many Rv as a plate screwed to a metal wall, with tubing attached on the back of the fitting. The part at the front is like the female fitting on garden hoses and should turn to screw on the male end of the water hose.
On those I have looked at, it is usually possible to do one of two things to check the backside. One can take the screws out and normally find there is enough slack in the tubing to pull the fitting out far enough to check the tubing or replace the fitting.
But an alternate is often just looking under the metal wall or feeling the fitting for leaks.
I sometimes have used a mirror to check it.

Fresh Water Fill

Easy enough to replace the connector. I had a leak and thought it was the fresh water connector (external). Removed connector to replace it and found the pex hose clamp was loose on the coach hose. Ordered pex connectors and clamping tool on Amazon and replaced pex clamp on the freshwater fill hose from the coach. This hose connects to the external fresh water connector. Applied a couple of dabs of dicor behind the connector and screws. Leak solved so now I carry the pex repair kit in my coach for any new pex leaks.
