2007 Aspect 26A mystery items....

We have a 2007 Aspect, purchased used a few months ago. We've been repairing little things that need it, organizing, outfitting, etc. Some accessories left by the prior owners, we decided to just get rid of. We have a couple items, however, that we cannot identify. Anyone know what these might be?

Photo # 1 shows two plastic thingamajigs, with a size-8 women's foot for scale. At first we thought they might be tiedown stakes for something, but they're not pointy, so probably unlikely. The "handle" portion moves up and down and swivels, but only a little bit.

Photo # 2 shows one flat metal rod partially wrapped in tape, with keys for scale. Our theory is that it might be part of the automatic house door step that the RV used to have (far as we can figure based on a few clues, prior owners drove away with the step extended and....suddenly removed it ). But maybe it's something else?

We hope to identify these things so that we can either put them back where they belong, or confidently toss them. Thank you in advance for any help!

Not a clue on my part; however can you use the Google picture search for ideas?

Good idea! I should have thought of that. And it looks like it worked, for the first photo. Appears to probably be part of some sort of portable stepping stone system: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Camco-445...Pack/288638389. Since they didn't leave the "pavers" behind, too -- and we wouldn't use it anyways -- away they go.

Still hoping for some ideas on the second (metal rod) photo...

I would value that last one less than the first! I think that might look like one of the braces at the side of a step that helps to steady and support the step?
Looks broken off at each end? Maybe a hole in the center where a rivet used to hold it to the steps?
Maybe they kept it as a reminder of the fun they had!!!

Hey! The first one is the center post for a set of leveling blocks that they probably didn't leave. No need to keep it unless you have the set of leveling blocks. I have no idea what the second one is and we also have an Aspect.

Looking at the supplemental materials in our InfoCase for the KwiKee electric step, I do think the metal rod must've been part of it. And we can't figure anywhere else on the entire RV this rod could go; nor does there seem to be any parts missing from anything else.

Lol Right?!?! I can't see any other reason to have kept it when no other parts of the step remains.

(We bought a good, sturdy stepstool to bridge the gap.)

Anyways, I think we'll conclude that's what it is, but hang on to it a while longer just in case. It doesn't take up much room in the storage compartment.

Thanks again, everyone!
