Need a gas cap for a 1998 Minnie Winnie. I took out the 3 screws at the receptacle and was able to force on the replacement cap, duralast 5502. I'm wondering if my receptacle lip where the cap goes on is bent. Is it supposed to be a little pushed in at the top and angled up in relation to the bottom of the neck where cap locks on? Non thread non screw cap. 3 protrusion turn on.
