If you like old cars. 30s to 70s.

West coast has Hot Auguest Nights in Reno.
Myrtle Beach use to host the east coast hot rod show but things didn't go so well down there so they moved it to first weekend in May, every year at the Outer Banks of NC. This weekend was it.
I'm a old gear head racer we rode down Friday spent the night walked till we couldn't walk any more seeing blowers stuck out of hoods, Tubbed out cars, and the creations time and effort each person puts into their hobbie. Tell you how big it is one guy we met trailered his car from AZ.
Would be a awesome RV trip, do the beach and the number one car show now on the east coast all in one week. Tons of mom and pop camp grounds and the state provided ones ain't a bad price. . Outer Banks is my play ground from Surf Fishing , inshore and offshore motorcycling to just taking the car over for dinner. Don't miss Captain Georges for the best and most seafood you every had. .
If your coming in to OBX (Outer Banks) don't miss the Ferry ride from Swans Quarter to Ocarcoke on the way in. Its well work it. . 2.5 hour ferry ride beautiful crossing the Sound. Looks us up. We're over there a lot year round. Fishing motorcycling, wild horse tours on the island, lots to do and laid back Carolina coastal living.
