Well we are going to cancel out. Over $1,700.00 in fuel and with all the floods they have had. We have so much oil in texas, you would not believe and they capped off over half of them. Nobody on the HILL is helping us. Have fun and enjoy the ralley.

I understand your fuel concerns, Randy.
However, I am happy to report that its high and dry here, no major flood damage anywhere near the area. We drove through Cedar Rapids on our way here. While the water has receded, there is debris stacked up all over. Very sad to see.
But for the benefit of others headed this direction, Forest city and the roads in and out are just fine.
Hope this helps.

Glenda,
Is there a list available of those who have said they are attending - and if so how does one obtain a copy. Thanks for all your work on this. Will see you there.

Hi Jack,
There is not a list by name, since many use a screen name on line. I am going to have stick on name tags at the tent so everyone can write their screen name and real name for all to recognize. As of now there are about 120 people that will be there at the get together, but I expect there may be many walk ins too. Looking forward to meeting everyone and making many new friends.

We will be in the Calif. row starting with pre-rally after a brief stop at CDI for some paint work.
Hope the grounds are dry enough!!!

I hope everyone is checking this thread regularly. It is getting close to departure date for us, so I wanted to update everyone. The irv2 get together will be on Monday, July 21 at 6:00 in tent D. Since we do not have a sponsor to provide snacks, I suggest everyone bring a snack to share and your own beverage. There will be chairs, but we will need to bring our own tables...just a few to put the snacks on. Most of us carry some type of fold away picnic table and we can set those up inside the tent. I will have name tags with numbers on them for a drawing, so please stop at the entrance and make your name tag so we all know who you are! Bill Rowell from RV Upgrades has generously contributed some great give aways for us. Lets give him a big hand! We will be there on the 17th and along with some other early arrivals, so we can iron out any issues beforehand. Again, we will be in the VA row, wherever that is this year. Look for the irv2 banner on the Vectra. We will have a golf cart if anyone needs transportation to the tent. Everyone have a safe trip and we will see you next week. Gee where did the time go...it seems like this was just an "idea" a while back??

Yea - thanks Bill
Glenda - we will be arriving this Wednesday afternoon if you need anything.
I'm going to email Bob G and ask if he can set us up a special forum thread for us somewhere on iRV2.
